-fire equipment for small agencies
-broadband and radio towers across the 3 counties for first responders and internet access.
-built low income and veteran housing in Okanogan
HB 1448- Veterans Service Officer Program
-veterans receive only on average 25% of federal funds owed to them.
-since this program started in 2020, it has been reported over million dollars has been rightfully given to the veterans and families they were owed in Stevens, Ferry and Pend Oreille County.
-bill is now in Congress to make this program nationwide.
2019-2020
HB 2662- $100/month insulin bill
-also created a task-force to review Rx drug costs. Insulin increases 500% in a decade.
